Ministry of Gear is a series of high quality fetish events in Europe and North America.

Our history

THE STORY STARTED IN CANADA IN 2022.

While Europe already had multiple events dedicated to the gearhead community, Canada lacked a similar event where people interested in gear fetish could come together and celebrate.

As they say, necessity is the mother of innovation, so a group of young gearheads decided to combine their talents to create the brand Ministry of Gear. The vision was clear: to create an event with a focus on good music, great atmosphere and a fun environment, where everybody is welcome.

The first Ministry of Gear event took place on September 23, 2022, in Montreal, Canada. It quickly gained traction across the country through social media and word of mouth, soon drawing attendees from the United States and even Europe.

As the event grew, members of the puppy community began to take part, further strengthening the connection between the two communities. In 2023, two of the founders relocated to Europe, marking the beginning of the journey toward the first European MoG event.

Hello Europe

The first European edition of MoG was a new concept called Gear Rave, hosted on the 25th of May 2024 near Stuttgart, Germany. While other, already well-established fetish events usually played commercial dance music, Gear Rave stood out with its dedicated focus on harder music styles like techno and hardstyle.

In 2024, the members behind Ministry of Gear played a key role in shaping the highly successful  “Rave Cave” concept for Gear‘n’Dance, a puppy fetish event based in NRW, Germany. As part of this collaboration, MoG contributed to the development of the rave dance floor for the Gear’n’Dance summer edition at Bottrop’s historic Malakoff Tower.

INTRODUCING SOUNDWAVES

After setting foot and successfully showcasing the Ministry of Gear concept in Europe, the goal was to go bigger, better and louder, creating an experience that truly stands out in the saturated European fetish scene.

Thus MoG Soundwaves was born: a high-quality gear fetish event on a boat cruising around the port of Hamburg.

This time inviting a broader fetish audience with musical styles fitting the boat party vibe, such as house, deep house, club and minimal music on two dancefloors and a background provided by the industrial and historical cityscape of Hamburg.

The concept of Soundwaves ended up being a wild success among the guests and once and for all put Ministry of Gear on the map of the European fetish scene. A pure indication of the need for premium, unique fetish experiences, which serves as a drive for the team behind MoG to come up with brave and outstanding event concepts.

MoG keeps growing

Ministry of Gear started 2025 strong by working with XGEAR on a new series of events based in NRW, Germany. MoG helped create an unforgettable atmosphere with a solid line-up of DJs, making sure the dancefloor was always moving.

In February, MoG hosted the first-ever Gearheads Social at Darklands 2025 and sponsored the traditional Pup Soccer.

The focus is on bringing back the highly anticipated MoG Gear Rave and MoG Soundwaves while already working on some exciting new event concepts.

In short, our journey has just begun.
